TIC has extensive experience in the construction of processing facilities for the producers of Industrial Minerals and Metals throughout the US. Representative projects include phosphate rock beneficiation plants, soda ash expansions in Wyoming, nacholite solution processing facilities, bucket wheel excavators, mobile material handling systems, hoist houses, calciners, crystallizers, evaporators and processing lines.
TIC was awarded the contract for the electrical and instrumentation of the Molybdenum Autoclave system at Kennecott Utah Copper facility.
TIC was awarded the contract for the installation of a truck wash, conveyors and silo for bulk sulfur.
TIC was the general contractor for the installation of 10 miles of conveyor system including all associated concrete, structural, mechanical and E&I. TIC installed overland conveyor on 18% and 16% grades. This required careful precautions and best practices to keep the work safe.
TIC was awarded the contract for the construction of the Bald Mountain Expansion Project. Scope of work consisted of concrete, pre-engineered buildings and structural steel at the existing open pit gold mining facility.
TIC was the general contractor for the process facility of a 25,000 TPD molybdenum mine. Additional scope of work included construction of a water intake structure and pipeline.
TIC was the general contractor for Kennecott’s 4th Line Expansion Project,including the installation of one of the largest mills in the world. TIC performed civil, mechanical, structural steel and piping scopes. Principal areas of construction included grinding, building concrete and mill erection, coarse ore reclaim mechanical, flotation and moly plant mechanical and piping, refinery, filter plant and conveyors.
TIC was awarded the contract for the M&P and E&I work at an existing 28,000 TPD molybdenum mine that was brought back into production. Scope of work included demolition of existing structures, refurbishment of the primary and secondary crushing facilities, and construction of new facilities including a new mill and concentrator, ore storage and material handling systems, and a new main substation.
TIC was awarded the contract for the construction of a 12,000 TPD gold ore crushing, milling, roasting and leaching facility.
